a Scottish girl living the American dream. Fashion, beautiful and everything fabulous to me!

Y’all I cannot believe thanksgiving has come and gone this year! This last 12 months have flown by! So now it’s a month until Christmas! Our FIRST Christmas in Houston (usually we spend it in New York!) but we wanted to start our own traditions especially now we have baby cub but all our family will be back in UK (booo for no one coming out to spend it with us!!! Shame on you all 😆🙊) .

Honestly my heart is full with love this year, not that it isn’t normally but I just feel so lucky every single day with the friends we have made and our beautiful AMAZINGLY easy baby cub joining our little family.

Here are a couple of things I’m thankful for…

I’m so blessed with my awesome husband who supports me in every aspect of my life (maybe not my shopping side!) but who truly stands by me and encourages me to reach for my dreams! It’s rare to find someone who brings out the best in you, plus he’s a pretty rad dad to cub!

To our baby cub, who we can take to parties and she will sleep quietly despite the noise! To her new little game of throwing dilly (her giraffe pacifier) out the stroller then cracking up! I love her little personality, not loving how active she is now crawling!

I recently just celebrated my 30th with my friends here in Houston. I sometimes pinch myself because I can’t believe how lucky we are to have built such an incredible supper network of truly AMAZING people! I don’t think I tell my friends enough how much I love them. I have close friends back home in UK who continue to make such a good effort with communication especially as we are coming up to 5 years since we moved. Cheers to you all!

I’m thankful for moving to the states and being given the opportunities I have, it’s been hard work but man it’s paying off! It’s still sad to see the continued sexist attitude in some organizations but it’s changing for the better.

I have worked with some very talented people over the last couple of years and I feel like I’ve learnt so much! I’m always looking to improve and keep moving up so it’s nice to live in a country that allows doors to be opened.

thank you for continuing to read my blog and follow me on social media. I sometimes think I get more interaction from people if they completely disagree with my posts (damn mommy world is brutal sometimes!) but you allow me to do something I LOVE which is talk about fashion and how it’s evolving in my life, new beauty products and life. Every single reader I appreciate you taking the time to read my page!!

Life is so short, it’s important to live a fulfilled life with no regrets. Everything happens for a reason.

I’m thankful I’ve turned 30, fit (well… semi!) healthy along with my family and friends.

What are YOU thankful for?
