Don’t you love it when you find a great all rounder beauty product?! I’ve written about my love of Sudacreme before which I feel like I use for EVERYTHING but now I’ve found something else from one of my favorite skincare brands Tropic Skincare, Tamanu balm!
Tamanu is highly regarded and extensively used by the indigenous people of Polynesia and South-east Asia. Since the 1930’s, Tamanu oil has been studied by researchers in Europe, Asia and the Pacific Islands and has even been used in the treatment of leprosy. Tamanu oil has antibacterial, anti inflammatory, restorative and regenerative properties when applied to skin. The unique chemistry of the oil is what gives it such incomparable healing effect.
Tropic Tamanu Balm treats a multitude of skin complaints and injuries including: bites, bruises, cuts, sunburn, stretch marks, scars, acne, eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Many chronic skin conditions are fundamentally inflammatory skin problems. When Tamanu is applied to breaks in the skin, it has the ability to promote formation of new tissue.
