It’s been a busy couple of months, and I’m not going to lie I have maybe made a couple of sneaky purchases… and I’m proud of them ALL!
I just wanted to show you what I have added to my collection for summer. Hopefully this might give you some tips to experiment, add to your closet, mix and match!
Firstly, my husband dragged me round the outlet malls (oh I was kicking and screaming as I’m sure you could imagine!) straight into Calvin Klein and this beautiful bright summery bag instantly caught my eye. Usually I buy amazing bags and I never use them, so decided this would be my turning point. I have used this bag every second day since I purchased it. Therefore, this proves how much it goes with a variety of outfits. Plus it’s summer, you need some colour!
I have been searching for the perfect pair of trousers for my work attire and CK did me proud with a black peg leg pair and a purple straight legged pair with a black belt. They could not fit any better and add comfort to my day to day wear plus with the recent H-Town battering of constant rain trousers were very much needed!
Going back to my bright trend, needing gorgeous colours in my life, I purchased this dress of eBay for a fraction of its original price, from J Crew. I have added my studded necklace along with the CK Black belt.
I will touch upon this trend in my next article, but I ABSOLUTLEY love the army camo look. This dress instantly caught my eye – again an eBay bargain. Michael Kors. Great outfit on its own. Its pattern didn’t need anything else added, except nude heels. Effortless.
Pre-paring for the winter months already and this has gone instantly into hiding for that time because there is no way I could wear a jersey dress in summer! This is again by Michael Kors and has gold studded detailing. I would pair this up with ankle boots and gold bracelets.
Another Michael Kors design – noticing a trend?! Great top which can be dresses down or dressed up. Gold sequins are always needed and appropriate!
For accessories, I went to the Stella And Dot House Party and picked up this beautiful arrow bracelet. I’m trying to branch out from my norm statement necklace and embrace bracelets and rings again. This will literally go with anything, it can be worn on its own or paired with other gold pieces.
What are your recent purchases?! I wanna know share your thoughts.
