Since i was a little girl, and influenced greatly watching MTV Cribs seeing all the STUNNING walk in closets, I always dreamed of having one of my own. I have always been very particular with ‘my stuff’, ensuring it looks beautiful, well looked after, every item has its rightful place and ultimately that i can have them on display… not too much to ask right ?!

So let’s just take it back a little. This was the start of my love of displays … this shoe shelve has been part of my 9 year relationship which unfortunately in the last move it didn’t make it but I kept the back as it took me so long to make! It’s nice to keep it

When we moved to our current house I picked out one of our spare rooms to convert into my closet. Now, as much as I wanted it functional to me it’s all about the display!

We picked up a vintage converted to new vanity with mirror. The wardrobe is from Wayfair which I got 50% off! The chair was left from previous house owners (y’all know I’m passionate about bargains!). In the closet I purchased Ikea storage containers to make it look a little more organized, unison and pretty! In the drawers I have additional shoes, my jewelry: used amazon jewelry drawer organizers which are super cute! Now I can finally see all my items to make it easier for pairing! Lastly, the fur rugs were from ikea, the curtain rails were amazon and the lace curtains were ikea!

Beyond proud of this space, I love it so damn much! Finally a closet to be proud of! It’s taken a long time to get to this point and I appreciate every single item so much as they all tell a story!
