a Scottish girl living the American dream. Fashion, beautiful and everything fabulous to me!

Don’t want to blow my own trumpet, but this is now my 4th batch of Protein Bars and I feel I have perfected my recipe! After leaving them in the fridge last night to harden, I checked this morning and they look yummy – I’m actually looking forward to having one tonight before CrossFit!

To make these amazing scrumptious delights, which took me about 10 minutes to prep and overnight to harden in the fridge please see below 🙂

The containers I have used are old dog food plastic containers which are great shape for 4 big sized bars, which essentially depending on how big you want to make them can be made into more. I used three containers which gave me 12 bars.

Ingredients:

Crunchy Peanut Butter
Honey
Dash Of Milk
Dry Roasted Pepitas
Vanilla Almond Special K
Chocolate Protein Powder

Add 5 large table spoons of Peanut butter, 3 spoons of honey and a dash of milk into a bowl. Put in Microwave for 30-45 seconds to soften, which makes it easier to mix up.
Add in 3 spoons of dry roasted pepitas and 3 handfuls of Vanilla Almond Special K (feel free to use different cereal)
Add in two scoops of Protein Powder and mix together.

Add to containers and push flat with the back of your spoon. Leave in fridge overnight and they are ready to eat! They may look messy but my goodness they taste great! I hate the taste of protein powder drink so this is my solution!

Enjoy!!

Awesome looking bars! I have been trying to find a bar that doesn’t just melt when I put them in my gym bag so I will give these a go!
