Happy Weekend To All!!! It’s been a tough week and all I can think about is FOOOOOD!
Lately I’m addicted to going for ‘brunch’ like I feel this is my go to saying when I text my girlfriends “hey are you free for brunch this weekend” long gone have the days where I would text and say “hey lets grab drinks or a happy hour” (mainly because I’m pregnant!) So I’ve decided to share with you my top places to go for brunch in Houston, 100% recommend them and LOVE them!
Now for me to judge a place, they have to have English breakfast tea, with milk and honey AND Eggs Benedict (ideally with Smoked Salmon but as I’m preggers I’m just enjoying bacon!) so that’s always my chosen meal and drink of choice!
Please comment with your go to places, as I’m always looking to expand my options!
B&B Butchers – Washington Avenue
OH MY GOODNESS their bacon is to die for! Soooo thick and delicious! I would recommend going on a Sunday for brunch and sitting outside on their terrace as it’s a great atmosphere and they usually have live music.

Union Kitchen – Memorial
So this is a new location to open up, I went there last weekend with my mum and it was so lovely.
$$
Hotel ZaZa – Museum District
Honestly if I could afford to dine here more I definitely would, and I would also stay in the hotel and use all their facilities AND book out their spa… however I’m not in that position as yet so I very much appreciate their brunch menu! To my shock my hubby STILL hasn’t been here… I need to change this!
$$$
Sweet Paris – City Centre
SUCH a cute place, and within walking distance to so many great shops in City Centre – which I can’t complain about! They have the tastiest crepes and amazing coffee!
$$
Snooze – City Centre
LOVE this place, but damn you have to go early at the weekends or expect to wait a LONG time! This place kick started in Austin (very popular there) then they opened up a spot in Montrose and now one close to our area YAY!!
$$
Benjy’s – Washington
I mean, PISTACHIO CRUSTED GOAT CHEESE and their BREAKFAST PLATE, just yummmm! PLUS they have mocktail menu list so people like me don’t feel left out!
$$
Brasserie 19 – River Oaks
This place is VERY trendy, I mean don’t just turn up in your yoga pants! I took my mama here when she was in town last year, it’s gorgeous food but their champagne collection is to die for (So I will definitely be going here once this little baby girl is out!)
$$$
The Dunlavy – Alan Parkway
After a beautiful walk round the bayou, seeing the views over Houston and the sky line the Dunlavy is the BEST place to go for a beautifully fresh breakfast and amazing freshly squeezed orange juice. I definitely would recommend Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs
$$
Black Walnut Café – Rice Village
Beautiful place in Rice Village, and for brunch in this venue. I love it there plus they have bottomless mimosa.

Enjoy lovelies!
